The opportunity to serve students, teachers, staff and families through development (i.e. fund raising) efforts and public relations is an absolute blessing. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. My professional background encompasses almost thirty years, beginning with a teaching degree from Oregon State University. Post-college, I worked in the political arena for several years. I then joined a wonderful architectural firm, eventually being promoted to Partner. Several years ago I left the firm to begin my own marketing, management, and public relations firm. My children both attend FFCS, and my family is very involved at Glenwood Community Church. I consider it a privilege to be a regular part of the FFCS team, working to support our children becoming meaningful contributors to our communities as they honor God with their life choices, their service, and their learning as they develop a Christian worldview. My name is Alice Johnson. It has been a joy to be Firm Foundation's business manager and accountant since March 2007.
I grew up on a dairy farm in northeastern South Dakota, and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Mount Marty College in Watertown, South Dakota. Prior to joining Firm Foundation, I was a staff accountant for an electronics manufacturer for six years. I moved to Washington in 2006 and married my wonderful husband, Jon, in October 2007. We live in Battle Ground and are members of the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Clatskanie, Oregon. We enjoy gardening, travel, and bargain shopping.
It is a blessing to work in an environment where the administration, coworkers, parents, and students profess a common faith in Jesus Christ. It is an honor to be called to assist the school and to help our families manage finances according to biblical principles.
I’m Jenny Benge and I have been officially working at Firm Foundation since 2004. I was a volunteer at the school prior to that and then I was hired on to be the bookkeeper. When our family moved to Austin, Texas, in 2007 and subsequently returned to the Pacific Northwest six months later, I then became the office manager in 2008. I have three children: Ashlee, Amanda, and Ian.
In my free time, I transport my children to their various sporting activities, attend college at Warner Pacific, and volunteer with Silver Buckle Ranch in Brush Prairie. I also enjoy reading, visiting with my friends, traveling to Hawaii, scrapbooking, and photography. I attend church at Grace Foursquare in Camas.
I’m honored to assist at the school, and it’s been a privilege to work with our students, staff, and parents.
Hello! My name is Ramona Krueger, and our Lord has blessed me greatly by allowing me to be with Firm Foundation Christian School since 1997. I began as a volunteer parent helping in the classrooms and in the office. As time went on, FFCS moved to its current location. I continued helping in the office, and have the privilege of being the secretary.
I truly enjoy all our wonderful parents and their precious children. The high academic teaching, positive learning environment, along with the competent and caring staff are just some of the reasons I enjoy being here daily.
My husband and I have two daughters, one who graduated eighth grade from FFCS in 2003, and our youngest daughter who currently attends FFCHS.
I am excited to see God grow in the lives of everyone He brings to FFCS and FFCHS. I am looking forward to meeting you and answer any questions you have about this wonderful school.
My name is Cheryl Cundiff and I have been the school nurse at Firm Foundation Christian School since 2007. I am a registered nurse, having graduated from the University of Tennessee with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. I also obtained my Washington nursing license and became certified in school nursing at WSU Spokane. The Lord has blessed me tremendously with my three daughters. My oldest, a first grade teacher here at Firm Foundation, is married, and now I finally have a son through marriage to my daughter, who is a fireman. My second daughter is in graduate school working on her PhD in history, and my youngest daughter is in college majoring in elementary education. Some of my favorite activities include reading, traveling, playing games, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy taking care of all the precious children who attend the school, and I ask for your prayers that I might be able to meet the needs of each and every one of them.Hi, I'm Julie Harper (AKA Mrs. Happy Harper) and I have been on staff as an educational assistant since 2006. I have worked in first, second, third, and fourth grades along with recess and lunch duty. In 2007, I began assisting our Development Director Julie Olson, along with aiding. For the 2009/2010 school year I officially have two titles, Educational Aide and Development Assistant (i.e. fundraising). I am truly blessed to be able to serve the children and families at Firm Foundation Christian School!
My husband, Bill, and I have been married since 1990, and we were blessed with two wonderful children in 1995 and 1999. Our daughter, Marcy, is in high school and our son, Josh, is in middle school. We live in Battle Ground and enjoy family game nights, beach trips, the outdoors, attending our children’s sporting events, and worshiping/serving with our church family at Glenwood Community Church. I personally enjoy reading Karen Kingsbury novels, women’s Bible studies, walking, and someday I would like to begin scrapbooking my 20,000 plus dated and labeled photos.
Blessings,
Julie Harper
